At any time during your case, you may choose to hire an attorney to take over your representation. This is called substituting counsel. If you decide to retain an attorney:

• You may substitute an attorney into your case at any stage of the proceedings
• The attorney will take over all legal representation responsibilities
• Your prepared documents can be transferred to your new attorney
• We can provide referrals to qualified real estate and foreclosure defense attorneys

Important: Attorney fees and retainers are separate from our document preparation fees. We can refer you to attorneys, but we are not responsible for their fees or services.

While we are not a law firm, we maintain relationships with qualified attorneys who specialize in real estate law, foreclosure defense, bankruptcy, estate planning, and related areas. We can refer you to these attorneys when your situation requires licensed legal representation.

Please note:

• Attorney referral fees and retainers are between you and the referred attorney
• We do not guarantee the quality or outcomes of referred attorneys' services
• You have the right to choose any attorney, not just those we refer
• Substituting an attorney does not affect the work already completed on your documents
